A garden for pollinators
north Norfolk This garden is an ongoing experiment aiming to fulfil nature's need for pollen, shelter and food alongside mankind's desire for beauty. An underlying structure gives depth and layers and allows for a softer, wilder garden, transformed by shadows and dappled light at different times of day and year. A magical garden to be in. Loved by swooping barn owls, garden birds, any number of different bees, butterflies and moths. Self sowers seed themselves about, enhancing and animating the planting. No two years are the same, but the spirit of the scheme continues. |
